03

Ceilings & Texture

Popcorn and stipple removal, texture matching, and the ceiling holes left behind by light fixtures.

04

Specialty Work

Soundproofing assemblies, insulation and vapour barrier, and exterior stucco patching.

Not sure which service applies?

Three quick cases that cover most of what people call us about.

A brown stain on the ceiling

Water came through from somewhere. Painting over it traps the problem and the board may have lost integrity even if it feels dry.

Water damage drywall repair

Cracks that keep coming back

In a pre-war Niagara home this usually means lath and plaster rather than board, and patching it like drywall is why the crack returns.

Plaster repair

A basement that has sat empty for years

Insulation, vapour barrier, bulkheads around ductwork, then board and finish. The most common residential job in this region.

Residential drywall installation

Questions about our drywall services

Which service do I need if I am not sure what to call it?

Describe what you can see and we will tell you. A brown ceiling stain is water damage repair. A ceiling that looks like cottage cheese is popcorn removal. Cracks that keep coming back in an older home are usually plaster, not drywall. Send a photo and we can almost always name it without a visit.

Do you do framing or painting as well?

No. Drywall is the only trade we do. We take over once framing, electrical, plumbing and HVAC rough-ins are complete and inspected, and we hand over a paint-ready surface for your painter.

Can you combine several services in one visit?

Yes, and it is usually cheaper. Several small repairs bundled into one visit costs substantially less than separate call-outs, because setup and travel are the fixed part of a small job.

Which services do you do most often?

Residential installation and basement finishing lead, then drywall repair, then popcorn ceiling removal, which is the fastest growing of the three across Niagara.
