Doing one thing for twenty years produces a different result than doing ten things adequately. We have seen enough Niagara houses that very little surprises us anymore, which shows up as accurate quotes and fewer mid-job surprises.

If a crew member puts a foot through a ceiling, damages a floor or causes a problem on your property, our liability policy carries it. Ask any contractor for proof of insurance before they start work, including us. A contractor who hesitates has told you something important.
What it means for you: damage to your home during the job is not your financial problem.
This is the credential homeowners understand least and should care about most. If an uninsured worker is injured on your property, you can be the one carrying it. Full WSIB coverage moves that liability off you entirely.
What it means for you: an injury on your job site is covered by our WSIB, not by your home insurance.
Working at Heights matters the moment your project involves a vaulted ceiling, a stairwell or a two-storey open space, which in this region is most additions and a good share of renovations. WHMIS covers safe handling of the compounds and materials we bring into your home.
What it means for you: the crew is trained for the parts of your job that carry real risk.
We do not fit drywall in between kitchens and decks. We hang board, tape and finish it, repair it, remove texture and restore plaster. We do not frame and we do not paint, and we work alongside the trades that do.
What it means for you: the finishing, which is the only part anyone can see, is done by people who do it every day.
Hanging board is fast and it is easy to judge. Finishing it is slow, invisible while it is happening, and it is the only part anyone can see once the paint is on.
Three coats, each needing roughly 24 hours to dry. A coat closed up wet cracks later. That drying time cannot be compressed with a fan and a hopeful attitude, and the contractors who try are the reason so many Niagara basements have seams opening a year after they were finished.

Yes. We put the specific terms in writing with your quote. Some hairline movement in a new build is normal through its first heating season, but a seam that opens properly is a workmanship issue and we come back and fix it.
Response time, no travel premium, and knowing the housing stock. A contractor who has worked on fifty houses around Facer Street knows what is behind the wall before opening it, and knows that our freeze-thaw winters and clay soils produce a particular pattern of settlement cracking.
